Taxi driving lessons too, entirely on request
Besides the category B training, Rijschool More gives taxi driving lessons. There is no fixed package attached to them: every driver comes in with different experience and a different goal, and that does not fit into four package letters.
You tell us where you stand and what you want to achieve. We then work out a lesson plan and a price together. You drive in and around Roermond, in full-hour lessons and in the same calm atmosphere as the regular lessons. If evenings or weekends suit you better, we plan it that way.

Can I learn to drive an automatic at Rijschool More?
Yes. At Rijschool More in Roermond you drive in a manual or an automatic car, and the package price is the same for both. Do note the difference on your licence: if you take your exam in an automatic you get code 78 and may only drive automatics. With a manual licence you may drive both. Not sure? How quickly can I start driving lessons in Roermond?
Right away. Rijschool More does not work with a waiting list, so after your trial lesson we schedule your first driving lessons immediately. Lessons can be planned during the day, in the evening and at weekends, so they fit around school, study or work.
From what age can I start driving lessons?
You may take driving lessons from the age of 16 and a half, and sit the practical exam from 17. The theory exam is allowed from 16. If you pass before you turn 18, you drive with a coach beside you until your birthday; for that you apply for a coach pass with the RDW. From 18 you drive on your own.
Is the trial lesson free?
The trial lesson is free if you continue with driving lessons at Rijschool More afterwards. If you do not continue, the trial lesson costs € 35. During the trial lesson you meet your instructor, drive yourself for a while and we estimate together how many lessons you will roughly need.
What is included in a lesson package?
Every lesson package from Rijschool More contains the agreed number of 60-minute driving lessons, the interim test and the practical exam. You do not pay for those two separately. The theory exam at the CBR you arrange yourself; it is not part of the package.

Yes. Besides the regular category B training, Rijschool More in Roermond also gives taxi driving lessons. What is the interim test?
The interim test (tussentijdse toets) is a practice drive run by the CBR that takes as long as the real practical exam and covers the same elements, but without a pass or fail result. Afterwards you hear exactly where you stand. If you perform the special manoeuvres well, you are exempt from them at your next practical exam. At Rijschool More the test is included in every package; separately it costs € 195.
What does a re-exam cost if I fail?
A re-exam costs € 295, the same amount as the practical exam itself. If you suffer from test anxiety you can take the exam with extra support: it lasts longer and the examiner takes your nerves into account. That exam costs € 345. Extra lessons to prepare cost € 58.50 per hour, or € 275 for a follow-up package of 5 lessons.
